The Catcher in the Rye

Почти все слышали и знают о книге Дж. Д. Сэлинджера "Над пропастью во ржи". Мне всегда было интересно, что же в ней такого необычного и почему она привлекла такое внимание. После прочтения я поняла это, у меня вообще было много эмоций, мыслей и даже возмущений! 

Главный герой мне не понравился, чаще всего реакция на его действия была такая: "Что ты делаешь? Зачем? Ну зачем?! Как это развидеть?!" Но вот читать разные размышления и философию было очень увлекательно. Мне понравились его разговоры со взрослыми, но больше всего с сестрой) Пожалуй, Холден (главный герой) с сестрой - мой любимый Холден, потому что по отношению к ней он серьезен, заботлив и искренен. 

У меня есть знакомые, которые похожи чем-то на Холдена, да и многие в таком возрасте сталкиваются с подобными трудностями и творят что-то непонятное, поэтому эта книга прям про настоящий подростковый максимализм и попытка показать всем, что же происходит у них в голове и в жизни. Конечно, обобщать не стоит, потому что далеко не все такие, но есть много книг, рассказывающих о сложностях взрослой жизни и о подростках, которые не понимают эти самые сложности. "Над пропастью во ржи" - одна из лучших книг на подобную тему. 

После прочтения я по-другому посмотрела на многие вещи и сделала выводы для себя. Стало понятно, почему это произведение запрещали читать, но тут нет вины автора. Просто некоторые умудрялись (не удивлюсь, если и сейчас так) увидеть действия Холдена, как пример и не понимали, что так наоборот нельзя делать. Эх, не учатся люди на чужих ошибках.

If you like and read my blog then be prepared to read about books, because now I read a lot and have many different thought. Actually, I think that I will write about books more and more because I want go to the literature university and... There will be always reading. And I'm happy about it.

Some days ago I ended reading "The Catcher in the Rye" by J. D. Salinger. I was wondering why this book attracted a real BIG attention and why people say that it's special and unique story. I understand after ending it. I had different feelings and thoughts but this book really can help understand some teenagers and adults can see teen's life. I don't say that every teen behaves like the main character but many teenagers have same problems, feels and don't understand that life isn't easy and if you are adult, you won't be always cool and "I know everything and can handle everything".

Honestly, I didn't like Holden (the main character) and when he was doing something strange and stupid (in my opinion) I was like "OMG! WHAT IS IT!? WHY? How forget about this?! Stop it" I liked reading monologs, philosophy and Holden's conversion with adults but what I liked the most is how Holden cared and thought about his sister. And! Holden with sister is my favorite Holden because with his sister he's more responsible and just better.

After this story I understood some things in my life and I had a thoughts like "Don't rush your age and talk with family" I hope teenagers will understand that this book show how not to behave and how important understand that you are teenager and you can't know everything about life. Nobody knows everything about life and you don't need act like a cool guy who doesn't care. I think that sometimes people are tough to teenagers but it doesn't mean that teenagers must stop to be themselves and start act like adults. We're always all growing. Adults and good books can describe everything to children and teenagers and teenagers and children will listen and understand.
